The way to get a biography of your relative on their website is to write one.
You may have to do research yourself.
You could start by finding out who the actor's agent was. This could be tracked down through old editions of Spotlight, the listing of actors and their agents. If you live in London, the British Film Institute library may have copies of Spotlight. Otherwise, try Equity, the Actors Council.
If the actor/reletive is dead, then try to get a copy of their birth or death certificate, and find out if there is any relation to your family.
Hi
I am a new member, I read your post and agree with the advice Don1 & tonymclark gave you.
I am a member of Equity and checked back to 57 for a John Wallace, there is no listing for him in membership but that is not all together unusual.
Is John Wallace his real name or stage name, was he an Equity Member under another name?
When did John die? Equity might have been informed.
Name a couple of films he was in.
Equity may be able to supply his agent's details and John's address at the time so that information could be checked.
