heart goes out to pete and anyone else in this position i was at his concert in birmingham on thursday it was absolutly brilliant such a nice guy i think anyway i expect some sarky answers from some AB members as usual

Not at all.. mother was in a simliar situ.. we were told 'the breathing changes' and the phone call came and we were too late to get to the hospice.... bless.. she was warm and smelt like baby powder... heart goes out to Peter... never lost a sibling

hippy hoppy same here got the phone call went through red lights and missed my dad by one minute its always haunted me the guilt that i didnt get there

I read that he had kidney cancer, but it didn't sound too serious then. So sad, sorry for Peter he seems a very caring family man.

Aww tez.. don't be sad.. we were in two cars so it was 'best' that mum passed away before so we all saw her together.. not ideal.. ideal would be she is in the kitchen knocking up a rightous mac 'n' cheese... but hay ho...

feel sad for peter and family, i feel for him as i do with anyone going through heartbreak. Its awfull as its happened a few times in our family in the last 2 yrs.
