Why does he speak with a French accent = he was born in London?

He was born on the Indian sub continent IIRC I remember his mentioning it onetime on real deal. he said something about his father putting him on the boat for europe and also his interest in artifacts from there.

On his eBay page he states English as the only language he speaks.
He may have been born in India (like Cliff Richard and Felicity Kendall) but that is not an Indian accent. I read some time ago he is London born and bred.

It is simply affected - probably worked well when he was a drag queen. I think he lies about his age too, he's starting to look old.

I worked with Ian many years ago in Surrey! He was in the accounts section. He was just the same as he is now but without the bling and all the money he's made! I nearly fell off the chair when I first saw him on D's RD!!
