I remember watching a film years ago probably in the 70's, I think Charlton Heston was in it. The main plot involved zillions of soldier ants on the march eating everything in there path, any ideas of the title?

Although not starring Charlton Heston, there was an ant film called 'Phase IV'.  Among the stars were Lynne Frederick who would become Mrs. Peter Sellers.  Not a bad film for its age.
