On BBC2 (Alfred Hitchcock's obsession with Tippi Hedren) is turning out to be rather good.

I'm really enjoying it. I have to watch The Birds again soon.

The only thing i'm not sure about is their choice for Hitchcock...

I think the choice of Hitchcock was a bit creepy. He didn't look as bad as that.

Toby Jones got it just right. Hitchcock WAS creepy and manipulative with a wicked sense of humour. His idea of 'fun' against a technician on set who 'questioned' him was to slip him laxative in a coffee then arrange for the guy to get locked in on set overnight. A great great film director but a rather horrible man.
