Why is it, that people have just stopped making good horror films? I don't understand, I decide to give them a chance but lately I've been disappointed every time, "The Amityville horror" is a good example, perhaps the most clich horror film ever? What has happened??

to a degree i agree with u, i watched jeepers creepers 2 last night for the first time and that is a good film but not scary in the way that the first was! it was more action film than horror! Same for the film Wrong Turn that i also watched in the last week and it was more action than horror!

Last scary film that really freaked me out that is recent has to be the remake of Dawn of the Dead. That is the scariest i have seen since i was a kid and scared of doctor who!

.the original Amityville Horror was terrific - so I won't bother to see the re-make.

it is because horror movies are now made with 15yr olds as the target audience so most end up being within the guidelines of a 15 certificate so they can watch them.

watch "National Treasure" - that's a really bloody horror if ever i saw one...
