and the Bradshaws guide, Great British railway journeys. Interesting programmes, but i wish someone would tell Michael that his colour coordination needs some work. on BBC 2 now, he is wearing a pink jacket, lime green shirt and blue jeans, need some three d glass to look.
I like his presentation by the way.

Yes he is a bit controversially dressed what is it with men wearing pink, Ian Poulter the golfer seems quite fond of pink and on a recent episode of Flog It Paul Martin was wearing bright pink trousers. Great British Railways great show!

good show, and i like him in this, and i did see Paul Martin the other day in flog it, not a show i would usually watch, with his bright pink trousers, some of the presenters on other antique type shows are the same, wonder if it's catching.. x

I love watching that programme. He is certainly colourful, and minces a bit. Did you notice that the Bradshaw book was small and a bit battered for English train journeys, but a larger red book for the continental journeys.

I like him as a presenter but dread the day he goes into fashion.

Good programme and Portillo generally is okay, but what annoys me is the number of times he refers to his Bradshaw book - must mention it in nearly every sentence he utters.

Love it=programme and presenter. Erudite, knowledgeable, intelligent and interesting imo and a million miles away from tawdry soap/celebrity junk-sorry :(

not a bad programme em, but I do find watching him reinvent himself as A Nice Bloke pretty nauseating
