One of the sad parts of it is that the doctor's life is in very real danger because of his "un-Islamic" views.

I want to say more but as others have yet to watch it I don't want to give anything away but hopefully things will now change in Pakistan for these brave women and all their daughters.

Haven't been able to watch the show, but will watch in 4od. Saw a report today about an acid attack on a 16 year old boy a week ago in Hampshire... something particularly vicious and brutal about using acid in an assault, I think..

I watched it, sick and barbaric!!!! Those men are not human!! That's their culture, vile people!!

The doctor was inspirational and a good sense of humour to boot. The women were brave to say the least. The culture is near beyond belief in the twenty first century but it was nice to see the government finally taking action and good action at that. We can only hope they apply the new laws and this barbaric practice is ended quickly. It is vile and a life sentence is an appropriate punishment.
