Did anyone watch this? It was great. My kids were glued to it... Fascinating filming and up close with the bears.

Yes I loved it, they're amazing animals, but it was upsetting to see Lyra so thin when she was struggling to find food for herself and having to refuse her cub. I hope they continue to do well.

I was led to believe that polar bears were rare. However, this programme made it look as if there were plenty.

Apparently Lyra's collar sent a signal early this month but it will finish and drop off soon...she might be seen from the air and the scientists may recollar her.
