Anybody else here a Pete Duel fan?Do you still find that every time you see a repeat of Alias Smith and Jones,you just think he had that special something that sets him apart from any other actor?

Hi linda, I left a message on B & S Tues 27th but it got swallowed up!...... It was just to let you know that Bruce was being admitted into hospital Thurs 29th.

He has had his operation, the surgoen found 2 tear's in his muscle and a nerve hitting off a bone, all have been repaired. He is strapped up with his arm in harness type sling he has some pain but other wise is o.k. he will be like this for a month then he has to have alot of physio.

In the mean time I can beat him up and get away with it!!!!........... only kidding.

Hi you two! Was back here too late to leave a birthday msg for the birthday boy!! Was down visiting the family again.Hope the pain is easing off well Bruce,and that all the candle blowing out didn't tire you too much!! T.G. You've got the op over you now...the only way is up!!...I was thinking of you both over the weekend.I was reading a book written some years ago,by Doreen Tovey,about living with Siamese cats.It was called Cats in the Belfry.It is soo funny,and applies to living with any cat really.You would really enjoy it Vanessa!..I'd recomend it anytime.I was given mine by my sister,who found it in a charity shop,but I looked online,and it can be bought there.It dates back to the 50's I think,but...cats don't change! As controlling and dominant as ever,thank God!....We'll always keep our wee cats close to us every day in thought Vanessa .XX Cheers ,Linda.XX

Hi Fagin! How's you!..Still enjoying Lost I hope?..We were able to tape the series from RTE(who were about 5/6 episodes ahead of E4 here),and watch to the end of the series.I'm now watching them all again on E4,cos I have to watch every episode at least twice! There's always soo much going on,you always miss some little detail.I got the DVD of the whole first series,from my niece for my birthday,and,I'll be getting stuck into that,once the second series finishes here.All those happy hours with Sawyer..Mmmm!!

Hi Linda and Foxy Fagin, How are you both keeping, "well I hope" I have been up to Durham to see my mam and family, I went on the 4th Nov and got back late last night, Bruce was home alone with the kitties.

My mam is well and the rest of the clan, we had a lovely time getting out and about, she loves window shopping just like myself and I think we exhausted the shops in Sunderland and Washington, she was after a new winter coat which we eventually bought in Cotton Traders in a Retail Outlet Park.

Bruce is still on Incapacity Allowance for his shoulder, the physio is pleased with his recovery, although he will only have 80% strength in it, which will mean he will no longer be able to go back to car mechanics and will have do a complete career change.

Hi everyone,
I've not been on for a while but I think we're getting a VHS/DVD recorder for us (me?) for Christmas just so as I can tape all my Alias Smith and Jones' onto DVD (and a couple of other things). I cannot wait!

BTW I got my DVD / VHS recorder - Bernard's just got all my AS&J videos down; tomorrow I have every intention to see how this machine works. I am SOOOOO excited - Pete on DVD - yay!!!

Blow me, just been to the AS&J Collection and see the series is going to come out on DVD. That's wonderful - just been back as I'd lost pseudo and p/w and everything...
