There were 25 episodes over three reasons I think and Father Ted was played by the late Dermot Morgan

Ironic really, Dermot had played Priests before and he decided he didn't want to do more Father Ted as he didn't want to be typecast in future. Sad to say he'll forever be remembered now as that priest.
