Sorry headreck I should have explained that in the real story of the Selfridges store, Mrs Selfridge (not the actress) actually did die of pneumonia, but parts of this series are not necessarily correct so she may not in the series.

Its sadly the last episode in this first series next week, what will I watch at 9pm on Sundays now? When is Downton coming back? Just three of these I really love to watch - The Paradise, Downton Abbey and Mr Selfridge and all three have signed for another series!

Mrs Selfridge and the children were sent to live in Hampshire in real life. He bought a large house for the, and that allowed him to have more mistresses. When his wife died, he was distraught, but that did not stop getting another mistress, a French lady who gambled away all his money, he died penniless.
