Not bad. Nice scenery, interesting plot. I hope there's more to come as I am especially fond of Douglas Henshall!

I watched it because of Dougie. Couldn't understand a word of it though!

shame it was on the other side of Broadchurch, which is proving to be gripping

I'm recording Broadchurch (love David Tenant) as I was watching Mayday last week. Mr Q and I will start catching up with it tonight.

There was alot of mumbling, I must admit.
enjoyable.....use your subtitles .
There are just too many of these whodunnits at the moment. I lost interest after the first episode. As for Mayday over five nights. What a waste of time.
Tilly it could have been worse they could have been real Shetlanders and then none of us would have understood :-)
Just seen the first episode and am enjoying it, couldn't stand Hattie so her death is pleasing! Who is the detective? he looks like a blonder Matthew Wright!
can someone explain who hattie is, because i did see a little bit of it, and thought that she is related somehow to the woman who was shot, but if so how?
Douglas Henshall, recently in a ghostly story, the name escapes me .
He was the horrible teacher in Crickley Hall
that is the one, now how does hattie fit into this..
Hattie was an archaeology student working on the plot of land owned by the woman who was shot. She was not related to her but they did have a secret.
i thought they were related, and couldn't see how,
I really like it. Even though there wasn't a Shetland accent amongst them all - even the ones supposed to have been born there.

Wonder if there will be more?

Just finished watching this, quite good, hope they make some more.
Scenery nice; couldn't "get" into this one though.....
I found it refreshing to have a whodunnit that wasn't based in a large English city.

And it was nice to understand everything that was said - although I seem to be alone!
