I'm finding the story line interesting but the acting is rubbish. Not that I've ever been through anything as horrendous as that but it just seems like nobody is acting in the way you really would in that situation.
And the way the police questioned the posty, told him they needed a list of people he was with to confirm his alibi and then just walked off - surely it wouldn't be quite so casual in reality (I know it couldn't be really true to life but they could have tried a bit harder).
Disagree, I thought the acting was very good, infact I had a sleepless night after I watched the first episode. I'm enjoying it so far and think it's much better than Mayday, 5 bloody hours in invested in that and the ending was crap.
I've high hopes for Shetland with Dougla Henshall (dingdong) ;)
I agree about the week thing, it's too long to wait for the next instalment, mind you Mayday everynight was a bit much, I had to grab it on the iplayer.
Could someone please tell me what last nights was about.? although it was on the tv I couldn't realy concentrate on it. had to turn the sound right down as hubby was in bed because of a 4 am start today.
I was playing around online so did miss bits but in short...
The wife told the vicar she is pregnant.
The dads car was spotted on CCTV at the top of the cliff. He told the police he met a friend but couldn't remember the friends name.
The odd woman in the caravan had a skateboard in her cupboard (which nobody knows is there yet)
They confirmed the boy died in a beach hut (that the odd woman cleans) and (I think) found the fathers finger prints in the hut.
