I've been on 15 to 1 as did my eldest brother and mum - on separate programmes - none of us won but we had a brilliant time.
I have also been on The Eggheads - with all three sisters and two brothers - again we failed miserably but a good time was had by all. Dermot Murnahaghn was watching football on a TV out of camera shot and his wife and children had come to see him
Not a game show as such, was on Jezza Kyle a year ago with my GF. I failed the lie detector, proving the kids were mine. We're still together, but it's not really working.
Not a game show as such but I was on the National Lottery Wednesday 3rd Degree contest for organisations which had obtained Lottery funding. It was a 3 minute quiz with the questions getting pregressively harder each minute. I won and one of the other contestants refused to speak to me afterwards. However I got to start the Lottery live on telly. I got to press the same button as Cher did some weeks earlier. Ooer missus!
I'm here! I appeared on the Chase in January - didn't do very well but enjoyed the experience despite being wracked with nerves.
Years ago I appeared on the weakest link but was first off (oh the shame), and before that I was on 15-1 where I did ok but didn't get to the final.
I find it really interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes but was so nervous for the Chase that I may not apply for anything else. Don't remember being so nervous for the earlier shows but they were years ago and I was obviously a lot younger.
I was chosen to appear on a show called Whatever You Want 14 years go. The prize (which I was desperate to win) was a trip to South Africa to cage dive with great white sharks. I had been feeling off colour and on the morning of filming the show I did a positive pregnancy test.
I was very noble (though it was bloody hard) and offered my place as a contestant to the reserve contestant.
I kept in touch with the guy who won. They sent him to South Africa twice and he didn't get a sniff of a great white. It made for a dull follow up report
