Does anyone else find this drama very slow moving?Surely there cant be many more episodes before we finally find out who killed Danny? I am also finding it hard to hear what David Tennant is saying. Is it just me???

Eight i believe
I agree, I really enjyed the first 2 or 3 episodes, now I find it's giving me a bit of the hump and my mind's wandering whilst I'm watching it. It's far too slow and needs to be wrapped up bit quicker, I mean we're half way through and still have no bloody idea who Pauline Quirke us supposed to be!

It is slow moving but I think that's part of the appeal. It's very sad to see the way I close knit community falls apart.............

"go rocky!!! thought it was only me (re Pauline Quirke)"

This character is getting on my wick to be honest, when she threatened the reporter with men that would rape her I thought Jeez, lazy scriptwriting, For Funks Sake.

An otherwise good series is being ruined by making six episodes into eight. I suppose we're lucky they don't have a 'coming up' section before and after each commercial break, the favourite trick of the producers to make a half hour programme fill a one hour slot.
