Love Film And Masters Of Cinema Dvd/blu Ray

Does anyone know why DVDs etc released on Masters of Cinema are not available from Love Film. It is frustrating because MOC releases are quite expensive and few are available used. i am studying film and can't afford to buy them , ie one is priced at £25. I am studying from home so no access to library copies.

no idea why not; but I've signed up for MOC's email newsletters and occasionally they sell off stock at £10-£15, which may not be quite so painful.

I suspect it's to with supply & demand.

I imagine your typical Lovefilm subscriber is looking for the latest Hollywood blockbuster rather than, say Battleship Potemkin.

blimey, I thought I knew every film going but that lot are proper obscure stuff, all the covers look like they should been big hits but most are vintage and probably arthouse type fils that were made for the content not the revenue they would bring i
