What did everyone think of the act with the shadow pictures tonight? I thought they were fantastic, really original.

Agree, thought it was brilliant, BUT when oh when will they cut out the background audience 'noise' so that we can at least listen to what's going on on the stage. Totally spoils it for me. ... and Amanda Holden !!! perhaps I should stop there, what an absolute ??????????????

I thought it was great - not having seen anything like that before.

I also adored the torch singer, the lady who came alone so she wouldn't let anyone down (!) - what a voice, and her delivery was faultless.

Those slow emotional songs are the hardest to deliver properly, and she did it perfectly, what an amazing find. I predict a career, even if she doesn't win.

I wasn't impressed by the Funny Valentine performance, and I thought the judges' reactions to it were OTT - especially Cowell who I doubt would have raved quite as much had she not been good looking (from a potential marketing point of view). There was something about te way Cowell responded to that and the 11 year old Asian girl which smacked of knew-they-were coming reminiscent of Ronan Parke. but I this silhouette act, though it reminded me of an hilarious scen from an Austin Powers movie. Please can someone post a YouTube clip of the German silhouette act miming to Alicia Keyes as mentioned earlier.

Meant to say I loved the BGT silhouette act. It was much better than both of those posted above (only just noticed the Alicia Keyes one was already there). On BGMT last night they did an elephant silhouette too.
