Didn't know, cared even less. Sorry but I was always a, oh, that was the one with David Cassidy wasn't it. I'll get it tomorrow. Ta Dot
Hi Dot,so you were a David Cassidy fan too! We must have all gone for the same types!

Hi lindapinda,

Yeah. David Cassidy a little later in my teens, but before him it went like this,

Davy Jones, Andy Fairweather- Lowe, Brendan Boone, George Best, James Stacy, (and Wayne Maunder), Lou Christie, Steve McQueen and in my last year at school, Pete Duel. (With actually a variety of, "I'm in love for the first time today' incidents in between, from Fraser Hines to Henry Darrow),

I guess that list places me in a definate age bracket! My pencil cases were soooooo covered in all these names, half of them I have forgotten actually.

cheers

Dot

Oh yes, I missed out James Brolin. Shall we all do a 'heros' list?

Yeh Dot,I overlap with you on Davy Jones,James Stacey(had totally forgotten about him!)and Frazer Hines. Also loved Kevin Keegan,Bjorn Borg and Christopher Neame(he was in  Colditz, and had killer cheekbones!)Oh yes, mustn't forget Les McKeown, although I was never a tartan trouser wearer! I used my school diary for various pictures, and so much thought went into what went where!

Hi Lindapinda,

My friend went to Manchester last month to watch The Rollers, David Essex, Osmonds and David Cassidy, she said David Exxex stole the show, the Rollers, Incl, Les, were poor, the Osmonds were really good and lots of people walked out on David Cassidy cos he kept talking through his songs.

I remember Christopher Neame, I think he married the blonde acress off Father dear Father?

God arn't we old!

Yes,my sister went to see a seventies show 2 weeks ago,and had practically the same thing to report! She was not a David Essex fan particularly, but was bowled over by him, like the rest of the audience.David Cassidy did exactly the same thing with them too,and at the end of the concert, there was a queue of furious women"of a certain age"complaining to the management! T.G.I didn't go! Yes we are indeed old,but I certainly don't feel it! There's still a big old teenager inside, fighting to get out!
Dot -- is this you? In Lancashire? Diane here. Please e-mail me if you're back online!
