Buying Foreign Dvds
5 Answers
Morning folks. I want to buy a french language DVD of a film that we'd like to see, but which passed us by when it was released at the cinema. I have found a copy of it on line, but don't know whether it would be compatible with our UK bought DVD player. There are several regions where they can be played. Can anyone out there please enlighten me as to which can be played where. I would hate to spend a lot of money on something which I later discover isn't compatible with my DVD player. I think this particular film DVD is useable in Region 1.
Hope you can help, many thanks, Chox.

I am also sure that if you google the make and model of your dvd player + unlock regions you can find the codes that will make your dvd player multiregion or region free.
