Vicious

Just been reading about a new sitcom starting on Monday on ITV. To quote the blurb:
"Vicious, a brand new studio sitcom that stars respected luminaries of British stage and screen, Ian McKellen and Derek Jacobi who will be joined by Frances de la Tour in this unashamedly wicked new comedy."
One to set the recorder for I think.

But sadly with TV these days, the scripts are poor, and talented actors struggle to carry them. We can only hope !
I saw Frances at the National some years ago and she was absolutely brilliant, one of the finest performances I have ever seen.

Sorry it's probably me being thick but you posted 'I just hope the lines I've seen are the best of a not so funny lot.'- which to my addled brain meant you didn't like the idea.
However if you typed this:-I just hope the lines I've seen are NOT the best of a not so funny lot.' - that would have made sense to me.
It's probably me, I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment and it's making me as stupid as a stupid thing at stupid competition. More haste, less speed. :)
