I took part in this season -- lost in the end to Bangor, who lost to Manchester in the semis. I kind of wanted a team other than Manchester to win for a change -- an article in the Times revealed what we already knew, that Manchester takes UC way too seriously. Organised practice sessions every week against former competitors, several trial competitions just to make the team. Just not cricket, what?
Bibble I've noticed a lot of young guys hug and even kiss each other today, getting in touch with their feminine side, shaking off the stiff upper lip and boys don't cry tag I suppose.
Jim were you actually in a team then? Well done you. I went to Essex in the days when it was particularly anti-establishment, no-one would dream of being on UC. Even now I don't think they've got past the first round.
