I wasn't even going to give it a second chance, it's the worst work those 2 have ever done and just a series of cliches and characatures, the acting is more for pantomime, i kept expecting one of them to talk behind their hand to the audience/viewers. It's appalling.
I watched it simply cos there was nothing else on, no better no worse!
Simply, no
The 5 minutes I watched was as bad as last weeks - I turned off
Yet another series hyped to the stratosphere - mainly because it was perceived that actors of this calibre would never stoop to appear in anything approaching a turkey like this - but they have, and it is!

I think all those tv writers who praised it in advance must be cringing at the reaction to this dreadful '70's throwback - not because it caricatures gay men as nasty mincers, which it does, but because it is terminally unfunny.
Canned laughter, so it's a no from me!
Shame that, I thought it would be good, especially with those actors in it.
I watched the opening of the first episode when John Inman (sorry I mean Derek Jacobi) was on the phone doing a terrible over the top gay reaction when he heard a person had died.

Those opening few minutes were so awful I gave up and turned over.

We seem to have some awful new comedy on TV at the moment with "Not Going Out" plumbing new depths, and "The Wright Stuff" from Ben Elton also terrible.

I have tried to watch all three of the above and given up after a few minutes on each as they were so bad.
sipowicz: wrong. Not "canned" laughter - recorded with a live studio audience, apparently.
gingejbee - but no gaurentee that the 'live studio audience' was watching this load of tripe!

Maybe they can show us what they were watching - it can't be this, unless they drugged them first!
Perhaps they meant to call is Viscous - having a thick gooey consistency, sticky, gummy, yep, that must be what they meant!
Oh I thought it was a little better - I would (and do) watch anything with Sir Derek in and Marcia Cross is an added bonus

Can anyone tell me if the young neighbour was in Game of Thrones on Sky at the same time?
I thought he looked like the torturer
Not sure about 'Game Of Thrones' He was however in 'The Misfits'
Yes he's playing Ramsay Snow in GOT. His name is Iwan Rheon. Yumm:)
:0)
well he is far too young for me as is Jon Snow but wow
lol!
Don't worry I'll look after them for you :)
Must admit I watched it, found it better than last week.
I watched an episode of CSI NY on one of the sky channels. Very good it was too.Sit Coms today is not worth watching
"sipowicz: wrong. Not "canned" laughter - recorded with a live studio audience, apparently."

Then the audience must be reading 'laugh now' cards being held up lol
