Sainsburys, Waitrose and M&S just because I find the fruit and veg is better than our other local stores. I buy meat from Mum and Dad's local butcher and fish from their local fishmonger (I haven't found any good ones in Edinburgh!)...We have a mahoosive Tesco store nearby but it is just far too mahoosive! I could spend waaaay too much time and money in there!

Aldi. Top quality and dirt cheap.
When the local Aldi first opened you could gauge the bulk of the customers by the car park being full of 20 year old VWs with Polish registrations. Now the same car park is full of 5-series BMWs and E-Class Mercs, with the customers shoehorning their bargain basement buys into Waitrose bags.
