James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

Chilly this evening. Lamb stew was nice and mr N was so cold and hungry when he came in from work. Went down a treat. Its cosy indoors althoufh bedroom is starting to get cold so will need the heater on soon. There was one of those lovely imitation log fires for sale for 50€. I would love to have got it but thought Mr N would go on and on about wasting money!

No, no tapas u til weekend! We have decided to have a roast leg of lamb with all the trimings on Sunday, oh yum as Mr N has to work in the morning as he has so much work. He'll still have to cook it when he gets home!!

Ooh I do love lamb.Haven't had roast lamb for ages .In fact I think it was probably easter time when last I cooked it.Very expensive now.
I looked it up too Woofy.Mr S went and picked them up for me this afternoon.She's only given me enough for a week.Tiny little box with seven tabs in it.If I feel woozy it'll be an excuse to stay in bed :)

Really cold still and on the local weather they say we could have snow and the gritter lorries are out and about tonight.

it keeps being less freezing than the forecasts say so I keep waking up too hot because I've got too many blankets on. Tomorrow we sleep in the air en route to safariland. Shame about the night flights. OH is still anaemic and dozing on the sofa every afternoon, plus still got a kidney infection. Hopefully the antibios and iron tablets will kick in soon. Meantime probably not enough blood to attract hyenas, so that's the upside. Shaney, I hope your pills kick in too.

Brrrrr....Minus 6 real feel and it's snowing hard out there.
Very sensible to go somewhere nice and warm Jno.Hope your OH soon feels better.Warmth and sunshine are a good tonic.Take it easy, both of you.The tablets don't seem to have kicked in yet. I've only taken one so far.Got a good nights sleep though.

Much colder and wet here today too alrhough the sun came out for a few minutes! Still finding more things to decorate!
Hija has paid for flights and apartment. We just have to get ibiza-Barna flights and a hotel for last night as cutting it too fine to catch last flight home. Tried to get big xmas tree out of storeroom but impossible for me.

Blimey Neti ,whole leg of fresh lamb nearly twenty five quid in Morrisons.I dread to think what the butcher charges.
It's only just stopped snowing and it's laid.I could see next door's dog rolling about in it.
Our German deli parcel arrived earlier.Yummy wurst and proper coffee.

Its fresh here from the butcher as supermarkets do not sell lamb, where it comes from Ive no idea as you do not see sheep in any field.

When it snows here which is rare it is greasy really horrid.
