James is pulling Louis Smith's leg and he is bravely trying some fairly strange new (for him) foods. Poor soul even got food hell (squid) instead of food heaven (chicken) and then James showed him the beautifully cooked chicken and whisked it away again and made him eat the squid. What a nice young man!

OH has turned up freezing in the 80-degree heat but has got the contraption going and is also having a little custard (the food passage isn't completely closed up, but no solids or even softish foods are likely to get through). I think OH just likes the sensation of taking sustenance via the mouth for a change. It's been months.

Today remain road is dull of kiosks selling end of season stuff. I've bought an ibicenco basket for 5€ instead of 25€.use them instead of handbags in rhe summer.
Jno how is OH? Hopefully eating of some sort. We are sitting in the shade at a pavement cafe having beers and free tortilla.

we are calling the manufacturers because one of the tubes doesn't attach properly. Aside from that, OH slept well - still a bit weary and shrunken but this should improve. Another couple of days of warmth before autumn kicks in.

On way home we came upon a band playing our sort of music so we had another beer and really enjoyed ourselves. At home now and one of us is asleep watching snooker and snoring......

Good day biddies, and its quite a hot one here. We went out for a paella lunch, first one in ages, then we came home and i actually sunbathed for an hour. I looked really tanned so had a shower and now Im back to normal pale colour!

hello all. we had a dreadful weather night last night. First rumble of thunder at 7pm, last one at 3am. We finally got to bed at 4 so have spent most of the day asleep. Hope everyone is well?

nothing chewier than yogurt for weeks yet, neti - and I don't mean yogurt with bits in it. All more or less liquids. OH hasn't had an actual meal since about Christmas dinner, as I recall. Food's got nowhere to go till they put some sort of bypass round the blockage.

Another nice sunny day here, even sat in the sun for half an hour myself, but you can practically hear the temperature falling outside now.

Hope your OH is feeling a bit better Jno.Sleep is good. I don't think you ever sleep properly in hospital.It seems like a long process and hopefully they can find a slot for an op soon as.Being hooked up to a machine must be very wearisome.
Physio for me today. It isn't really helping though.Rather than waste his time I think I'll ask him to refer me back to my doctor.

Morning all. Ive been steaming my carpets and sort of spring cleaning. Havent attacked any cupboards or drawers, just the bits that can be seen.

I've only had rehab ( think that's physio) andvthe forv shoulder op and had to do it for 6 months until I injured shoulder matched t'other!

I seem to be forever moaning. I spent last night having a migraine and itching all over. In the end I took something for the migraine, which I hate doing because it knocks me out flat. Today I slathered myself in moisturiser and feel loads better. I hope everyone else feels well too. Neti that's lovely news about your sis. Mine is coming back to watch the Royal Wedding.
