Sgu (Stargate Universe) On Pick Tv

Does anyone watch this?

I watched it when it was first shown on Sky as I enjoyed the previous Stargate series, SG1 and Atlantis, but didn't like Universe as much and then it was cancelled after just a couple of series with no real conclusion. All in all rather disappointing.

I watch it but to be honest I don't understand it half the time. I can't get my head round that business with the stones. Mr.P has to keep explaining the plot to me!

I thought it was very slow-paced and seemed to rely on the tensions between the Captain and Robert Carlyle's character. Like anagram said, the fact that it was cancelled without really revealing any of the "Secrets" that Robert Carlyle's character was supposed to know was frustrating. OK show, but a let-down overall.

Loved the original SG with Richard Dean Anderson, for me SG Atlantis was a tad too far, but it turned out to be reasonably enjoyable.
SGU is just trying (was trying) to take the whole thing too far imo.

Lots of the TV companies are advertising on other channels. There was a thread I helped on the other day, where I was watching Discovery HD, and there was an advert for a programme on the (New) TLC channel.

and i also could not get interested, so i ceased watching
