I actually was not impressed by the impressionist. I was not over impressed by anybody last night actually, except perhaps by the male singer with the high voice.
I really do think that the kids are getting the 'Ahhhh' vote. I would prefer to see a talent show just for kids. A lot of them are brilliant but I don't think a talent show of this nature is particularly suitable for kids. Having said that the young disabled comedian is terrific.
Is there another semi final tonight? I wonder if Simon has the casting vote at the end he will cop out again. I think in view of Bruce Forsythe's comment which many people agreed with apparently, when it was up to Simon to vote for or against the pre chool children he copped out as they would have probably burst into tears thus proving Bruce Forsythe right. Instead he went to the public vote which happened to vote them in (because of the number of people supporting them) and not because they were more talented than the dancer.
I am STILL of the opinion there should be an upper and lower age limit. I don't want to watch gang after gang of children either. Or oldies that make you feel embarrassed.
Yes, the kids were lovely, but not more talented. Hence the 'ahhh' vote. The whole thing is silly really - it should be about talent not how sweet pre-school children are.
The judges were not short of praise for Luminites. Probably it's an age thing - I did not see any talent in their act. They will probably return to busking after the final.
Did anyone find those preschool children a bit disturbing? All that pouting, hands on hips and swinging their hair around was a bit uncomfortable to watch.
That's what little kids do nowadays! Just mimicking adults really as kids will. Adults didn't dance like that when I was young ;o). I thought they were good, I didn't find them disturbing. Just don't think they were super talented - just very well choreographed.
I sort of agree, but kids just copy and that sort of dancing is what they all do now and is accepted. Kids just behave like mini adults these days and are encouraged to do so as you say.
