i last watched Dr Who when Jamie was running around in his kilt, don't think I'll start watching it again yet, I'll hold out for Johnny Depp or Jim Caviezel, which reminds me, wonder why they've never done a US version, the show already does well over there amongst the geek element

I think B00 was commenting on Rory Kinnear. No, he's not going to definitely be the new one, he's just being talked about as a possibility - where the media get the idea he's "the favourite" I don't know. I can't recall any occasion when the suggestions made in the media have ever turned out to be accurate. By the way, it's not the priority to cast someone as 'eye candy'! Although Madden I can see as fitting that requirement.

Well I saw Rory Kinnear at the Lowry in Hamlet - he is a very good actor - not what I would think of as a typical Dr Who though - but as I said I dont watch it
