How do I play my video camera tape on my television

Usually via the red yellow and white leads which came with it.

Assuming that you've still got the video camera (rather than, say, having found an old tape for which you've no longer got the camera), there should be a 'Play' button somewhere on it.

You then need to check what type of output the camera offers. If it's got AV sockets (otherwise known as phono sockets), and your TV has too, then you'll simply need to connect the two together via a 3-way phono lead such as this one:

(NB: 'Discount shops' often sell them far cheaper!)
You'll also need to set your TV to show 'AV' (or something similar, such as 'External' or 'Input') as its source.

If your camera has AV outputs, but your TV only offers a 'Scart' input, you'll need a 'Scart to Phono' lead.

There are also several other possibilities (such as S-VHS connections) but, without knowing the make and model of both your camera and your TV, it's impossible to cover all of them.
