Regarding Eccles....is he called after a biscuit or a cake? You never see Simon taking an interest in Eccles or playing with him - not real.
Deidre is developing a drink habit by the looks of things (drinking at home) - I love Deidre but she needs a friend right now to drag her away from the bottle unless she's celebrating Ken's absence).
Rita is all over the place and what the hell is happening between her and Tina . Take all my savings Tina, no Tina you are making a mistake keeping the baby, then Tina you are doing the right thing and I'll stand by you all the way but then persuades Tommy to get Tina to change her mind before its too late. Dear me... Beth's son is cute though.

^ I didn't like Roy's Mum at first, didn't like the way she spoke to Roy, but she's mellowing a bit now and I'm finding I like her a bit more. Hayley is leaving Corrie, so Roy and Hayley will be no more soon !
You never see the dogs much in Corrie. Maria has a black lab, but how often do you see him in that pokey flat of hers ?! Eccles appears every now and again when a walk is in the offing, but would Deirdre have really walked him in the dark on the red rec when it looked so isolated. It doesn't go dark till about 10.45 now, so that was well risky!
I suppose the Corrie writers are at a loss what to do with Deirdre (and Sally) as Ken and Kevin (if back at all) won't be around for many months yet, must be a scriptwriters nightmare !
I agree about Rita, she needed to make her mind up one way or the other !
As regards the money, she looks upon Tina as the daughter (or granddaughter she never had.
I still love Corrie though .......

Viv...Eccles! has a facebook page seemingly...there are 3 versions of him. Has he ever been fed even (I wonder what his fee is?).
Rita has invested time in other girls in the past - think you are perhaps right re daughter stuff - she never had kids.
I hope they give Deidre a hot plot while Ken is out of the picture.
