Anyone watching? They're going through tyres faster than the riders at the Tour de France! Exciting and unpredictable yes, but a tad dangerous too for some of the drivers behind the exploding tyres!

yes, a bit ironic that the merc team seem to have suffered the most!

well, risk is part of the game in this sport

it is a good indication of the extraordinary skill they have when controlling the car after a tyre explodes

gripping viewing (pardon the pun)

If it's subsequently shown that it wasn't a track problem I feel the guys from Pirelli could get lynched!
This has got to be the most entertaining GP this year!! Great overtaking.
Question Author
Yep, great sprint over these last few laps!

agreed, most enjoyable

an excellent win by rosberg

thoroughly merited
Phew!!!
A great race come the end, despite earlier disappointment!

What a race! Well done to all the drivers who left it all out on the track today. Hard to pick a best driver, Lewis coming back from that tyre explosion, Alonso combative as ever and Webber almost nicking it.
Superb skills all round, a great spectacle.

Forgot to mention Massa and DiResta too, great driving.

an interesting choice of language on that article tony

'disrupted' is not the word i would have chosen
nice to see some real racing, big thanks to those magical words heard after the last safety car restart "there are no tyre or fuel issues so you can race"
disrupted' is not the word i would have chosen

Neither would I excel.
Hear, Hear cazz.
What a race!!!! Didn't think my heart was gonna make it to the end! Was on the edge of my seat the whole way through! So happy for Alonso!!

You reckon Pirelli will be back next year?

if they are erin, they will need to 'tread' carefully ;-)
Strange, it being the rear left every time. Must be something to do with the curbs rather than the tyres. Did anyone notice if it was the soft or hard tyres all the time, or was it a mixture?
Agree about the danger of large slabs of rubber flying round.
The low-light though had to be Damon Hill's interview after the race. I so wanted Rosberg to say I was really really p****d off to win, and later I felt very very sorry and sympathetic towards Vettal who dropped out in the lead and let me win.
Hill, a graduate of stating the obvious uni.
