One of the reasons I used to like this series was the narrator, but now he has been replaced by Cherie Lunghi who is nowhere near as good. The content is nearly always good but Ms Driver seems to always be acting in front of the camera even in real life situations such as this, which I find off-putting.
Seriously tho i did watch most of it and thought it was rather touching. She probably has a "camera persona" that automatically switches on so probably cant help looking a bit false, nevertheless i felt she was genuinely touched tofind out so much about her dad.
I liked Minnie and this episode was ok, but limited in content. It was mostly just about her dad and very much limited to one air battle in WW2. There was some side interest in her step-uncle being an actor, but even that didn't really go anywhere.
