promos during programmes
Why do some programme makers think the average viewer now has the attention span of a goldfish?
Many programmes, especially those about house renovation/sale, have to have a trailer before the commercial break telling us what is coming up later(presumably to ensure we stay tuned for the 2 minute break), and then after the commercials we have to have a review of what's happened so far, obviously because we have terrible memories.
Can somebody please tell the makers that we can remember things from one minute to the next, and we are watching the programme because we want to, so we don't need promos every 15 minutes.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.It starts with "tonight, on Street Crime UK..." and shows brief highlights of what's to come. Then halfway hrough part one will be "still to come on Street Crime UK...". Part one ends with "after the break on Street Crime UK...". The part two begins with another "still to come on Street Crime UK...", so a particular incident that happens in part two will sometimes have no fewer than FOUR previews!
Actually guys, I think I ought to go back to my doctor and return my medication because I thought I was suffering from some sort of deja vu virus and my doctor told me that I might be suffering from A.D.D.
