Up to 500 hours recording time, does anybody really make use of this? I can rarely find anything on worth watching let alone needing to record a couple of weeks non stop playback time! What do you do with yours?

Nope, if I have recorded something and a month has gone by without watching it I tend to delete it.
Maybe some folk are 'soap' fans and are afraid to miss a few episodes... as an EG
"what happened to Trevor"
"oh he fell down a pit, you missed that one a classic episode"
My box is about two thirds full... But I record loads of films and leave them on there for the kids to watch. I record lots of drama series too and leave them on there to watch when I feel like it. I have things from last year that I will get round to watching.
I have a twin tuner freeview digi, on which I have about 70 programmes and films to watch sometime. I don't tend to watch TV live, and if a programme is rubbish I just don't bother. I still have well over three quarters of recording space free.
