Angela Rippon.

She's an experienced presenter (everything from the Eurovision Song Contest to Top Gear). She's also danced on 'Strictly' (in a Children in Need Special) and in the famous Morecambe and Wise performance. (She has also been a judge on 'Dancing on Ice). She's a former Chairman of the English National Ballet and Patron of the Old Time Dance Society. Could anyone else possibly be better qualified for the job?

Can't see her getting on with Tess - she's too twee (Angela not Tess).
if the chase could spare him bradley walsh, he'd be brilliant
Question Author
I agree DJ, but he's probably a bit busy at the moment, what with Law & Order UK to film as well as The Chase.
anton du beck
Anton would have been good, but he shot himself in the foot with the P*** remark.

I do think Angela Rippon in Bruce's role and Anton in Tess's would be good. John Barrowman is too 'squealy' and Bradley Walsh has no experience of live tv.

I do think Michael Crawford could carry it off well.
John 'Am I Scottish, Am I American' Barrowman.

A suitable presenter - are you joking?
Question Author
I thought he was Scottish/Canadian. He can sing/dance/do live tv/run a cheesefest. What more do you want?
Run a cheesefest - yeah, that sums him up.

John Scot Barrowman (born 11 March 1967) is a Scottish-American actor.
Bradley walsh used to do the audience warm ups for loads of shows back in the day, including live shows i am sure,
Lional Blair - he`s old and very camp so he should fit right in.

We don't want another old person, fluffing their lines/jokes, squinting at the autocue etc.

I can't stand Bruce Forsyth. Anyone would be an improvement in my opinion.
Bruce is brilliant and would be hard to replace I know he is getting on but age doesn't matter where he is concerned he is a true professional, definitely not John Barrowman or Graham Norton, agree with the choice of Bradley Walsh but why not give it to some of the dancers, Anton, Brendan, or even James Jordan someone who has a knowledge of dancing and a good rapport with the public.
Absolutely anyone would be an improvement. He is the creepiest man on TV.
Paul o Grady....
Question Author
I'd stop watching if they asked James Jordan to do it. Loves himself too much.
John Barrowman would be nice

I think the former dancer Ian Waite would be nice
Id like to see the creditors take over and close the whole lot down. Just a vehicle for nobody else wants me please give us a job .
