I'm trying to find out if when switching to a Virgin TV/Broadband and Phone package there is a gap between leaving one provider (SKY) and joining another.I dont want to be without any of these areas .
Thanks
if you switch to virgin, what you may end up with, if things ever go wrong, is a customer care department that doesn't, well, care.
last year I had nearly 6 months of an intermittent service. Virgin knew there was a problem and even knew what it was and how to fix it; thing was, they couldn't be bothered. Now the same thing is happening again - the service was off over the weekend and has been intermittent ever since, and I'm told "it'll be fixed next month. unacceptable!
All providers are great when you take their services try contacting them when things go wrong, nightmare! I had a terrible experience with BT now with Sky at least with Sky you get to talk to a human being!
yes caribeing - when you ring virgin, they ask you to confirm that the number you're calling from is the same as your account (so they know where you are). they then invite you to tell them which service you're having a problem with. the automatic message then tells you that there's a problem with *your service* in the *your postcode* area, andwill be fixed in *4 hours from now*. what an unbelievably crass way to fob off your customers - do virgin think we're stupid?
