Another day of 24 is coming our way next year. How did I not know this, did anyone here know?

I think I knew - isn't the format going to be different though (something like 24 hours done in 8?).

oh yes they're doing a short series, i knew they were doing a foreign version, can't believe it would be season 9!

Sherr, yes it's being done in 12 episodes instead of 24, which might be better, especially if they're 2 hours long ;0)

24 episodes were only ever 40-45 mins long anyway.
I got bored as every series is the same with timing issues.

Bearing in mind that each episode starts literally one minute after the previous one they must use time travel to get around!

I must admit, I was very disappointed with the ending of day 8, hopefully this new series will redeem it.

Still looking forward to it though.

I watched the whole of 24 lying on the join between the things beds trying to get them to select in their own beds. Watched it in 20 - 30 minute bursts over about 6 months (things still wouldn't sleep in their beds). Be nice to watch the next one without having an aching bum.
