Can I buy vouchers from groupon abroad? I.e. If I see a restaurant deal say in Chicago but live in the Uk can I buy and utilise?

My friend has used Groupon or similar site vouchers in Paris, so I don't see why not

I've been in touch with groupon. Unless we have a credit card registered in the US we cannot buy an American deal which is a shame as there is a cracker at a place we are visiting next week! There are plans afoot to get this going in the future but for now I'd better not look at groupon.com!

Go on the website of the restaurant, they might have some print off vouchers or similar.
