Depends on how you define "better"!! They are both repulsive. But if you mean funnier, I would go for Vicky Pollard everytime.

Vicky Pollard is the funnier character (and caricature), but Lauren is scarily realistic.

I think Vicky is funnier, but Lauren is more real. What about Harry Enfield's Kevin and Kathy Burke's Perry though?  I don't think they're as funny but they were the originals!

Lauren's the best innit? so accurate. I love Catherine Tates show but do not get little Britain. But do I look bothered though?
