3. Want/don't mind a Kindle Fire rather than a "proper" tablet like an iPad/Surface/Nexus7

I take offence at the proper tablet remark. I find the kindle fire quite satisfactory for it's price and what I need. Just saying.

That must be costing the Mail. I don't think they'll be getting much in the way of a discount from Kindle. I saw a guy from Kindle on TV the other day saying that company policy is to sell Kindles at almost cost. Profits instead come from people then paying to download stuff.

Does this e-version of the paper still come with the coffee break puzzle pages, especially the cryptic crossword ?

Can anyone who has got one of these kindles confirm whether the cryptic crossword also comes with the e-version of the Daily Mail? Could be interested if it does.

I received a "free " kindle Fire (having paid for an annual Mail Plus subscription) and the Kindle Fire is the latest version, launched in Septembe. In addition to a full e version of the newspaper, the Kindle Fire edition of Mail Plus comes with a full suite (and more) of interactive crosswords and puzzles found in the newspapers Coffee Break section. The tablet, for its price, competes very ably with other tablets and with very minor tweaks, can access the various Apps available for any Android tablet

I contacted them to ask if i could enter the crosswords on line and the daily mail reward club numbers likewise or if i would still have to buy a hard copy to do this and amazingly the answer is that you would not be able to do either of those two things on line through the on line mail on the Kindle so for me it would not be a good idea!!!!!!
