Probably, though he has done that routine many times. The one I remember was "le singe est dans l'arbre" rather than "le singe est sur la branche".

You've got to have respect for anyone who opens his American stand-up show with "Hello, I'm from Europe, you know, where all the history's from!" :-)

Never used to like him then he grew on me and I saw him live but I think he has passed his sell-by date now.
