Screaming Audience On Strictly Come....
25 Answers
Am I the grumpiest misery in Britain or does all the incessant screaming from the Strictly audience detract from others' enjoyment of the amazing talents on show...the dancers, the lighting, the music, the judges and even Bruce's brilliant jokes? The noise just is deafening and really spoils my viewing pleasure with its piercing, agonising drowning-out of all other elements. Can anyone advise how I can get the programme-makers to tone it down, even just a shade?

I couldn't believe it when I just saw this post as I am watching Strictly and I had just thought to myself what a row it was, thought it was just me but I honestly have to keep pressing mute on my telly when all these shows are on!

I agree with you - hate the clapping throughout the dance, too.
And I agree with Gina. Natalie to go, although I expect it will be Susanna this week, or Mark.
Patrick was sublime. A fab show this week.
When are they going to start the two dances per week? They are a bit late with that this year, I think

I probably will notice it now. I forgot to say that when they had the football world cup in South Africa those horns they blew constantly drove me so batty that I finally watched without any sound......can't do that very well with Strictly thought. I think something was finally done however because they were driving the rest of the world mad.
Agree you are not the grumpiest I will join you, the screaming is deafening and spoils not only Strictly but lots of other programmes The guest singers and acts on Strictly are spoiled with the clapping and cheering when the dancers come on why can't they wait until the act is finished and then applaud.
