Sky+ Box- No Signal On Other Channels When Recording

In work now so can’t check anything…..

When I’m recording something on the sky plus box I have to watch what I’m recording as no other channel gets a signal, bit pointless. I have went through all the trouble shooting with sky except get an engineer out. After reading posts I now reckon that one of the cables going into the back of the skybox had a loose strand of copper on it that may be affecting the signal when I record. My question is, can I break that strand off with a pair twisers?

I was going to answer this question, but then noted you put the question in at 12:16 and started hassling for an answer at 12:20, 4 minutes later.

I think that sort of rudeness deserves to have to wait for an answer.

Everyone who answers on here does it in their spare times on a volunteer basis and you should realise that and wait patiently for an answer.

I can only say that ours is doing exactly the same and Sky are replacing the wires.
