The captain of the Boardgamers would be very near the top of my list of the most annoying people on TV - right up there with Nick Knowles, Lawrence LLewlyn Bowen, Tomasz Shaffernacker, Jo Brand........I could go on! Agree they were favourably marked, and Victoria Coren went down considerably in my estimation when she married that arch-dweeb David Mitchell. Did/does she honestly fancy him?!

Thing is, OC is a quiz which is always going to attract geeky contestants. That surely is part of the fun. I tuned in late and misheard one of the teams as the 'Paedophiles' (!) I wondered where I'd seen the chief board gamer before.
I thought that maybe one of their answers was dealt with a bit leniently. Apart from that, it's the luck of the draw who gets what question.
