actually I don't think ive seen him for a while on tv, maybe Maggie will tell us what she didnt recognise about him.

My Mother used to do this , 'Oh I saw Uncle Joe in town today - you wouldn't recognise him....' then she would carry on whatever she was doing. We waited expectantly, maybe Uncle Joe had a Mohican haircut now ? We nevee found out.

I didn't see it but I think he might have gone into long trousers, ditched the bleach and hair gel and tried a grown up's hair style. He looks more like a James than a Jamie now.

Jamie didnt rise likewise to other chefs abuse of him, mentioned by Norton. His hair has lost its 'sun bleach' and he has gained weight from compiling & testing his recipe book

Sorry, should have said when I first turned over I had absolutely no idea who he was. A bit later GN asked him a couple of questions and it was only when I heard his voice that I recognised him. He was, I think, the youngest guest but looked the oldest. Maybe it's just so long since I've seen him and he's changed.

I know what you mean, maggiebee, it was only because I had previously heard who was on the show that I recognised him. Who was the singer at the end,I'm afraid I thought the song was awful!

I thought that he was turning into Alan Titchmarsh - had to look closely too. Maybe his hair is darker than it used to be.

Looked to me like he has dyed his hair, and he does seem to have put on some weight, I certainly had to do a double take.
