I am sure I saw advertised some time ago (about a month or two) on UK tele an advert about a new drama coming which was all about the Great Train Robbery. I don't remember seeing the drama on or have I missed it?
Biggs always knew how to pick his moment, whether it was slipping over the wall of Wandsworth prison to escape in 1965 or dodging the Australian police just as they closed in on him when he was on the run in 1970.
thanks peeps. I missed the scheduling date as I very rarely watch BBC or ITV and tend to be on SKY. That is a real coincidence that he died and it is on tonight.
i am not sure they would have been that well spoken, no swear words, none that i heard, and they would have done, i know it's a drama, but at least make it accurate.
I thought it was excellent and am looking forward to seeing the second part
this evening.
Regarding the 'no swearing' comment,I do agree, but it did after all, start
at 8.00pm,an hour before the watershed.
I lost interest after 5 minutes, They were smoking Tipped SUPERKINGS Cigarettes in 1961/62,!! if they are going to do dramas like this at least make them authentic.
