It could be Frank Sinatra, with a song called All The Things You Are



If you run Call The Midwife through the BBC iplayer, set it to 1:12:48 and the youtube video to 49 seconds, and you get this line

"You are the angel glow that lights the star"

The recording used on CTM is a lot clearer than on the youtube video, but that is the name of the song you want, if not the artist singing.
