Why do they keep reviving these old sit-coms, I can only imagine that they cant think of any new ideas!

I thought it was terrible tonight, not a bit funny and just as bad as Still Open all Hours a few days ago!

Rubbish, Benidorm wasn't much better either.
I've just watched the new Benidorm...............it was dire.
The old series of BOAF are currently being repeated on some free view channels, and the contrast with tonight's new version is readily apparent. They should chop it now.
Birds was OK I thought. Same cast, same original writers....No different to watching the reruns on drama recently. Benidorm was awful and has been for years.

I didn't think Birds of a Feather was far removed from the old series. I liked it - maybe because it brought a touch of nostalgia.

Never seen the Benidorm thing.
I enjoyed BOAF as well. It actually made me laugh!
I'm planning to watch it on catchup today, other things intervened last night. I'll give an opinion later, the trailers looked funny.

It was carp first time around, it's not improved.
Perhaps it's not a bloke's programme, I never thought it was!
I was hoping for better with Benidorm but as craft said, it was dire! Similarly birds too, think it must be what you say trt, they can't think of anything new.
its amazing that david jason as granville looked older than mrs featherstone, I found open all hours quite poor, more of a catch up episode, BOAF had not changed much at all. it seemed ok
I agree and I hope there are no more Open All Hours. Not the same without Ronnie Barker!
I loved the new BOAF made me laugh loads
