Given what David Jason has served up in recent years, I doubt it. There is a miniscule chance this one could come off though.

Have to agree chilled if open all hours was anything to go by, it was dire in my opinion.

I hope it's better than the other "revivals" with aged cast - Still Open All Hours was awful, and the jury's still out on Birds of a Feather.

" Open All Hours " was overrated as a series and the "one off" lacked punch....it was flat.

"only Fools and Horses" and" Porridge" were in a different league and hence i feel that an older Dell and Rodders, may well do the trick.

i hope they don't do a news series, its been a long time between the old ones, and they were in a class apart, i didn't watch the new Open all hours
as no one can replace Ronnie B

I don't think they should re-hash old sit-coms they were good in their day but somehow lose the magic after a while. 'Open all hours' was a dead loss, and the jury is still out on 'Frost' imo. OH will be delighted he's watched the repeats on Gold a hundred times, and my Granddaughter's fiance has recently been to the Only Fools Appreciation gathering in London recently. sad.

I agree. Never saw Porridge, but Open all Hours was very weak, anyway. Not a fan of Ronnie Barker though.
